Companies and governments that are active in the North Sea Canal Area (Noordzeekanaalgebied) have the ambition of an almost completely CO₂-neutral and circular economy by 2050. In the report Ontwikkelstrategie Energietransitie NZKG' they indicate which steps are needed to become climate-neutral and remain economically viable. Worldwide, themes such as climate-neutral and circular are becoming increasingly important. Governments and companies in the North Sea Canal Area (Noordzeekanaalgebied) are jointly developing concrete projects to contribute to the climate goals of Paris.
